Could you take a look at your pics and change one to a live mode shot. Both pics I see are in CAS.

I suspect that somehow the sim genetic data might be corrupted because I used CAS to make a twin and the sim that was generated when I randomized never had the same face. It's like the game can't replicate her features. Strangely enough, if I change the face after the sim is placed in the world, the face doesn't revert. I've honestly never seen anything like this.
Tbh, you're losing me. I'm just not seeing anything other than one pic is a little darker due to the lighting than the other, so I don't see a difference.
But I can tell you that trying to make an exact clone in CAS is really hard. As far as I can tell, CAS won't give you an exact duplicate when you use the option there. Close sometimes but just not the same. I've tried a number of times and just couldn't get two identical sims especially their faces and the body shape isn't the same most of the time either.
Though I do know one way to get an exact clone. Use the GTW cloning machine. When you do it that way, everything about the sim and clone will be the same. But when you do it that way, the sims will look the exactly the same, have all the same skill levels and traits, same hair makeup, body details and clothes. The clone gets a random 1st name and has no completed aspirations or a job. They show as sisters or brothers, but the clone is identified as a clone too. But it can go wrong, and you end up with an evil clone. I always save before I clone a sim so if it goes wrong, I can reload and try again so I get a good sim.
That might be one way to get what you want if you have Get to Work. You'll have to do the Scientist Career and build and upgrade it though.
