Well when I go into build mode and put in those build codes I a search for some random thing like " Evil Hen" and it gives a list of everything and then I filter just the cottage living or horse ranch stuff

    @madcatz75 Yeah, I had to put debug in the search field for them to show up.

    Anyways, no issues on my side.

    You have no mods/cc ? Did a game repair ?

    @madcatz75

    Worked fine for me too.

    That particular object shows up after entering the bb.showliveeditobjects cheat which isn't as easy to use as bb.showhiddenobjects. I made  video a few years ago that may help you use it:

    Filter by pack, don't enter any search terms.

    Hmmmm I'll try that youtube method, and it also could be some mods that are causing the problem, thank you

    Super bizarre! Those items I try to place show up on the 3rd floor of my Lot but not on terrain!

    Hi @madcatz75 Could you test unmodded? Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. Test in a new save.

    @luthienrising I deleted the recently installed terrain CC that I thought might be causing it, but to no avail there. Deleted LocalThumbCache too, but no luck either. I haven't a clue which mod or CC could be causing the debug items to not show on terrain. I have so many.

    @madcatz75 I don't know of anything obviously related that's known to be broken right now. Your best option is to do a 50-50 on your mods folder. But that's assuming that testing with no mods solves the problem, so do that first, the folder-removal way.

    super late reply, do you remember if you ever found a solution to this? currently experiencing this and only able to find other people who just don't know how to find the debug catalogue.
