@flovysmeea Please start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC . Many mods are broken. Not all are identified yet.

@luthienrising all the broken mods should be deleted, right? like UI Cheats even though it is important and usually I always put this Mod on my folder?

@flovysmeea Yes. They aren't usable until you get an updated version. When you delete them, also delete localthumbcache. You can have a look through How to Use Mods and CC as well. Right now, many, many mods that are broken aren't listed yet. It's too soon for modders to have all tested their mods, by a lot!

@luthienrising I just noticed this notification on my walls. The new update makes my mod broken. All the cabinet on my world are gone and I can't even add. Its says "SCRIPT ERROR". Does anyone experience the same like me too? I check mods they don't have any new update.

I saw this too. I eliminated the mod and still, I have glitches. I couldnt put furniture, but once I deleted it, it let me. Still, I have the furniture menu glitched and a little too in CAS. 

I've remove XML injector mods, but I have the problem to edit or using build mode. Every time I click to build mode. Its just stuck and I had to force close the game. I also deleted the Mods that are not compatible or error from this list Broken/Updated Mods & CC  but still got the same problem. :") I don't know what to do anymore.

Do you also experience this? My sims can't eat or cook cause all the cabinets are gone and I can't put it on my build mode. @skittleslia 

I have the same glitches as well.

@purrsephonex Start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC . If the cause of your UI isn't found by going through the lists there, instructions on testing are here: 50-50 

So will I have to re-download ALL of my mods, or just the broken ones? How to do you know which ones are broken? I have a lot of mods from many different sites so I don't know if I'll be able to find them all again.

Please let me know soon because I don't want to have to re-find all my mods!

Yes, this was exactly my problem, but I removed those two I told you, plus <removed> and it worked fine. I removed <removed>. So those four were removed and it worked again.

OMSP - one more slot
RVSN - [CM - link removed] if you use anything from her She has a spreadsheet on her site

[CM - link removed] - you can check whatever mods you have that I may not

I honestly give up.

this has been a nightmare trying to fix this issue and the common mods you all have mentioned that this would cause this issue… I don’t have it in my game.

I’ve checked that page so many times and keyword searched through my hard drive to update the mods.

nothing is working as I am still experiencing this issue. 

i’ve attached ALL of the necessary CAS and UI related mods that may cause issues.

@keeyawnuh Please see the lists we've posted for you right here at EA support: Broken/Updated Mods & CC . Delete everying on the Broken and Previously Broken lists. Delete and replace everything on the Updated list. Remove mods not cleared for the patch or updated.

If you still have issues, instructions on testing are here: 50-50 

@keeyawnuh You have mods that aren't cleared for the patch. Remove those. Be sure to delete the file called localthumbcache every time you change mods. And don't assume that those are the only possible culprits!

I was able to resolve this issue from the 50/50 method.

The BetterBuildBuy mod is the most important mod for builders. Building without it is not fun, I can't play without it. What I hate, yes, hate, is that EA MADE ME update the game after the Life & Death Expansion Pack. Now I have an update for the pack I will never use and can't use the mod without which I can't play. Thank you very much for that. :-(
