Re: Vacation Day Option in phone is gone

So after some trial and error I think I figured out a solution. Deleting localthumbcache.package from the The Sims 4 folder under Documents and launching the game seems to have fixed it for me. If anyone has the same problem, this is probably a good place to start.

I'm marking this as a solution. The staff can feel free to move the thread wherever they feel is best.

I did notice some oddities when testing your save and I think that has to do with the criminal career that's taking place at night.

The option only appears if it says: Go To work in X hours. If they are already on their day off or if there's a holiday, the option doesn't show up, also not if they're already supposed to go to work. Since the criminal career is usually during the time a holiday ends, it asks you to go to work right after the holiday is over. That might be interfering with the option showing.

There could be other similar scenarios.

This did not work for me and I've seen streamers (Lilsimsie) having this problem too.
