Hmm, I don't know if you use mods, but if you use MCCC you can disable emotional deaths altogether...

I do use mods, yeah. I may have to disable emotional deaths for now , absolutely. I was just hoping there was an explanation or an actual fix for this without resorting to that. But hey ho. It happens, eh.
