I’ve been seeing last exception errors since the last patch related to moving the recycler. Initially i was told it was from having the move object cheat on but ive also had it happen with it off and it never happened before this last patch.
i have all Eps, all Sps except StarWars and Paranormal and the dust bunny & plant kits & the bathroom clutter plus a few others.
I do play with mods and a little bit of CC but ive ruled that out.
@delphy35z Hi! Would you mind attaching the LE file here? I'm not an expert at reading them but I or another helper might be able to find the problem. Also, you might consider searching for and joining the Deaderpool Discord. Even if you don't use their mod, you should be able to upload the LE there. They have a number of folks who are experienced with reading LEs who could help you.
One other thing I might suggest is moving your mods folder to the desktop or some other location, deleting the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder, and launching the game to see if the problem occurs without any mods installed. If it works properly without any mods, you could test them a little at a time to find the culprit. The spoiler below has some steps for testing mods/CC.
1. Create a new game for testing so that your current save is left unchanged until you've identified the problem mods/CC.
2. Create some folders on your desktop; perhaps one labeled "Tested Safe Mods-CC", another labeled "Mods-CC Needs Testing" and one more labeled "Broken Mods-CC" so you know which ones to check for updates. This will keep tested mods/CC separated.
3. Exit the game if you haven't already, and divide your mods/CC in half; put one half in the Needs Testing folder and put/keep the other half into the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / Mods folder.
4. Delete the localthumbcache.package file, located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder before opening the game with the half you're testing,
5. If the game works with that half, exit the game, move that half to the Safe Mods-CC folder and move the remaining "Needs Testing" mods back to the Mods folder to test (Again, delete that cache file before opening the game.)
6. Once you know which half is causing the issue, divide those in half, keeping one half in the "Needs Testing" folder and one half in your Mods folder, and test again (delete the cache file each time after moving mods/CC and before opening the game) and moving mods/CC not causing problems into the Safe folder.
7. Repeat this process until you find all that are broken.
I will the next time I set it off. I deleted the previous ones.
i do use MCCC and am a part of their discord and have asked their assistance but the only thing ive had suggested was that it was because i use Move objects cheat but its now happened with the cheat off too and multiple lots. Ones without families yet even. I did also get the suggestion to try with only MCCC but I found a error with that as well since their update. And i dont have any Eco mods except one and removing it didn’t help.

@delphy35z Okay. Sorry you haven't been able to figure out the problem yet. I still wonder if you could attach the LE file here or copy/paste the contents (please use the spoiler tag if you copy/paste). Perhaps we can come to a different conclusion than just to "turn off MOO". :-)
I will once I trigger it again. Ive been setting up a new group of homes/families in that completely empty neighborhood.

@delphy35z Hey! So based on the LE report you shared, it definitely does not seem to be related to any mods. So that's good, although it seems like you already knew that. :-(
I was curious about the bucks_utils and bucks_tracker issues highlighted in the LE. So, I ran a search and found there could be an issue with the bucks_utils.pyo file. This is a bit out of my league so I've asked some friends about it. In the meantime, I thought I might ask if you tried a game repair. I'm guessing the answer is yes but wanted to make sure.
If the repair doesn't fix it, perhaps you might try a factory reset. You can find instructions for that here.

Then, if you are still getting this weird LE. You may consider uninstalling / reinstalling the game. You may want to copy your TS4 folder in documents and pasting it somewhere else to backup all your stuff first.
@JonaO703 yep I pretty much knew that already. I actually meant to post this under bugs I didn’t realize til today it wasnt. I also did do a repair just last night but for a different issue with a family i made and have played on and off for a few years. There are 2 sims and 2 dogs and now all the sudden the household freezes/stops doing activities. They will walk to something and then stand there. Even caused a problem with a different family when i had them visit the broken family. Resetsim doesn’t work and i found a things suggesting a repair. But didn’t work. And having all cc anf mods didn’t either. So im attempting looking at older saves of them. Thankfully i save stuff as backups. Sorry i know off topic.
@delphy35z No worries. I completely understand how frustrating the game can be. As I mentioned earlier, I shared this thread with some friends and one of them suggested you remove all your mods then allow the game to run and generate the LE. I remember you said you were not able to attach it here before but I wonder if you were trying to attach the Better Exceptions file instead of the actual LE which is a .txt file. The BE file is probably a .xml type and would not be recognized here. Can you try attaching the .txt LE file that's in your TS4 folder? If you get a message that the file is too big, then you should be able to zip it and attach the .zip file. Even though the DP discord folks weren't exactly helpful, I'm thinking someone here will be able to help.
@JonaO703 Yeah it can be. It was the text LE that I tried to load and the spoiler I did back on post 7 shows the error I was getting. Unfortunately I cant really remove all my mods and play because it seriously messes up my homes. I have mods that allow shelves to have more space and things like that. But I was trying to play like that last night to deal with the other problem I mentioned. Which I just found another house having that issue, like this afternoon. I will try again though.
Just tried again. the error is saying that the attachment doesn't match the file extension. And it wont let me put a zip file in either. says unsupported extension type.
