Registering businesses won't work

Everything in the game works perfectly fine for me until I try to register a business from the new Businesses & Hobbies Expansion. None of the information loads and it only comes up with basically a blank screen. I tried closing out of it, but it won't let me. After that screen comes up, I'm unable to do anything else and the game won't close unless I just shut off my computer completely. It's so disappointing after looking forward to playing this expansion all week. Anyone else having this issue??
