I'm guessing it wasn't a lighting mod, but a reshade preset, in which case you do not install it the same way that you install a mod.
Here is a video tutorial on installing reshade. I haven't watched it (I don't use Reshade), so I don't know how good it is, but there are plenty others if you just look for them.
