@sims4maddihehe and @DolphineQ Please test with no mods or custom content present at all, in a new save; or confirm that you've already done so.
I tested with no mods and custom content. It’s still happening.
I did the same thing and couldn't get the option to show up so I repaired the game and DLCs. That managed to get the option to show up for residential rentals however when I threw my mods back in to test a few things out I managed to break it again. I'm certain there is a mod breaking something I just don't know which one it is yet.
Thanks @Maxou929 ! For a start, do you have All Worlds Are Residential? If so, please update that (and delete localthumbcache) and then test. I'm suspecting that the outdated version may be a culprit here. If not, you might need to do a 50-50.
Hi, I managed to get the pack to download but now it won't let me change the lot type to a residential rental. Is it only me? I can only make regular residential lots
Not sure if it's related but did anyone else who is having this issue get an error message stating "game failed to load" when trying to enter a lot?
@Maxou929 THis is a different issue. Head to Broken/Updated Mods , and if that doesn't resolve for you, you may need to do a 50-50. You can post in Mod and CC Issues or a new thread for support with that if needed.
its Basemental Venues For anyone having this issue where the For Rent "residential rental" lot type won't show up in all worlds, go into your mods and remove any venue mods. The mods that broke my game were the "Basemental Venues" mod (for club types). You can cut and paste the mods from your mods folder (C:\\Documents\Electronic Arts\Sims 4\Mods) to another folder if you would like to keep them somewhere else on your PC for some reason.
@THE_DJMACHETTE You can get the updated version of that mod on Curseforge. It's compatible with the RR system.
