Same for me.
I wanted to set a lot that I built a while back as a rental unit lot, cause it's an apartment building. No dice. The Residential Rental isn't even in the list.
I was in Newcrest, I have also tried in Willow Creek, no dice.
The YouTube videos I have watched of the creators with early access showed that they could use that type of lot ANYWHERE, so I am a little confused and annoyed.
@DolphineQ @sims4maddihehe Could you test with a fresh folder on a new save please? Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Then try in a new save.
