There is one mod I use that adds a CAS trait via the reward store that has been cleared by the creator, but the link you provided states that the XML Injector's functionality for that kind of a mod is not working, so I'm unfortunately still confused.
I also use 2 custom careers by one creator, and two custom careers by another; they are the only custom careers I use. Both creators use XML i Injector for their careers. Creator A says most of their careers are broken because of XML Injector, but creator B says their XML Injector-using mods are fine. The link you provided to Scumbumbo's mod site is saying XML is working outside of it's reward store trait functionality, so I don't know what to do with the conflicting custom career statuses from the two different creators.
I've pulled out all 4 careers for now, just to be on the safe side, and I'm debating on pulling the reward store trait one, even though it's been cleared.
I appreciate the link to Scumbumbo's mod status for the most recent patch. I'll be hoping to hear some more info about the XML mod compatibility before I attempt to add them back in.
Short of tagging the creators directly, I don't know what to do. Two of them have Discords, so I suppose I could ask there if I don't hear anything else here.
