Rewards items aren't getting unlocked

Not sure where to post, but I´ve been having trouble with career rewards and alike doesn't get unlocked like they should. I get the reward in the houshold inventory but I can't purchase one. It's been happening in different saves and it doesn't matter if another sim reaches that level, it still won't unlock. It's been the same during many patches and I don't have any mods. Does anyone have any idea of if there's a way to solve it?
