    Okay I didn't think anything that big had happened I have tried it with two Sims both were makes interested in women and my Sims is a female interested in males, but it just doesn't give me the option to do anything else.

Hey. I think it's pretty straightforward - you can't flirt with Sims if they don't fit in your sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is a new setting in CAS where the gender settings are. So you wouldn't be able to flirt with a gay guy if you're a girl, for example.
