@SheriGR For the roof, i learned how to work it out, but having to put a ton of roofs instead of just one because i did a balcony inside or outside is just annoying. The angled walls, or the triangular rooms, in the other hand, i can't do anything about it. I have a house where it is buggy inside and the floor disappear in one place because of them, some other houses, the diagonal wall and the room that go with it are taller than the normal rooms, so it's ugly. The only solution is to cover it up or avoid to do that type of room, like most people do with round walls, but.. that sucks.
@Jee-mei I agree, it does suck. I know exactly what you mean about the 'creative roofing' thing needed for some situations involving certain angles and joints below - or rounded walls. I have even used a combination of flat roofing (either a half-gabled lowered all the way down or flooring). A few of the homes I've made that come to mind that are in the gallery and have some areas like this that you could download to pull apart to learn from my pain (lol) are " View of Paradise" (octangular home, open double/spiral-ish stairways), "Knotty Pine Ranch" (diagonal room join/roofing area that was fussy), and "Rockridge Academy of Arts" (round room walls, open balconies, and an observatory/dome roofing area). If you would like to share the home to the gallery that has the diagonal room that's taller and bothering you, I could have a look and see if I happen to notice a cause or something that can adjust that issue. If you want to do this you can share it as follows:
