Scenarios, Game Options and Phone Calls, all broken
Hey guys, can someone help me out with this problem?
Since the patch, some of the ui in my game have been really broken. Here is what I found so far:
1. Scenario titles and their requirements/goals don't show up, it's just blank.
2. Sometimes I'll get a phone call and it'll be completely empty, including the response options (which I think might be the new friend phone calls that ask you to influence their life, based on the amount of response options)
3. In the Game Options menu, in the Gameplay tag, the lower part of that menu is completely blank below "maximum sim count". I know something should be there because there's a button I could click, but it's blank and I don't know it by heart so I'm not taking chances.
Here are the fixes I tried:
1. Restarting the game
2. Fixing the game
3. Removing cc/mods and deleting any cache files I could find, then fixing the game again
4. Updating the game when that wouldn't work (there weren't any new updates so that was a moot point lol)
I haven't reinstalled mods since I tried fix #3, there are currently no cc/mods in my game and the glitch still occurs. I attached a photo to give you guys an idea, the scenarios one is the most flagrant, it also will stay blank if I decide to start a scenario, so I'm left without even knowing the requirements to start the household for them.
@aglaecobe Please clear Origin's cache and repair the game again. Sometimes it's necessary to force Origin to refresh its data.

If that doesn't help, move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, which will force the game to create a new folder with no content. Start a new save and see how it looks. If everything is normal again, you can add your saves to the new Sims 4 folder and test those too. You'll need to test your mods as well to make sure they don't reintroduce any issues.
