Seasons weather not working after Growing Together install

I preordered Growing Together and installed it yesterday and everything seems fine with it, except for now my Seasons isn't working. I checked the game options and it's the same as always, where I sh...

    No, I have no custom content or mods installed currently.

      @jacheree Is the pack properly installed ?Did you try a game repair ?

        Yes it is properly installed and I had uninstalled and reinstalled it. Then I had tried to "revert" on the weather gameplay options but that didn't work either. However, then when I CHANGED the rain & snow settings and then changed them back, it started to work again. Like I had it set to just "rain" and just "snow" -- so I changed to "rain and thunderstorms" and then "snow and blizzards" and then changed back to just rain and snow, and all seems to be in working order again.
