I can't start a new save because the whole screen goes white when I click on new game. I can't save my game because the save button won't appear, it's grayed out. I can't get in build mode, that's grayed out as well and all it says is game loading in progress. I can't even repair the Sims 4 game on the EA app, it doesn't show. I do have my steam account and the EA account linked.
@9d446f15643286b5 Please test with no mods or custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package.
When you've installed the game through Steam, you can only repair through Steam. The option is called "Verify integrity of the game files," and it used to be under Properties > Local files but may have moved.
I turned off the mods, and now the game works. I can make a new sim in create-a-sim, I can get in build mode again. I don't know which mods it would be. I have so many. Though I have a feeling some need to be updated but not sure which ones yet. I also decided to delete steam off my computer and unlinked it from my ea account, restarted the computer and now that works like it should. I'm gonna turn the mods back on tomorrow sometime and see what happens.

For everything else, you can look for updates on the mods' download pages. If you don't find any, you'll need to test the mods and cc yourself, or stop using that content for now.
