Shift click not working

Hey yall my shift + click is broken? Was wondering if anyone could help me.

I've enabled testingcheats (yes I am sure) I have no mods or cc but whenever I try to shift click a sim or a mailbox to cheat motives and stuff it doesn't work.

As in it will just treat it like a regular click.

I've tested my keyboard and my shift keys do work, they even work on the sims if I'm just getting the chest bar up with ctrl shift c but trying to shift click is a no go.

Is there another way to get the shift click options to come out that doesn't include the shift key?

I wonder if some other app that's running is hijacking shift-click. Try making sure that the only things running are things that need to be running for Sims 4.
