sim 4 becoming pitch black when in swimwear attire
Im not sure if there’s a mod or cc affecting this, but i’m unable to use the simwear category without the sim becoming pitch black,,, can anyone help?? thanks!

Does your sim have any CC tattoos or CC jewelry on for that outfit and is the swimsuit CC or a game item? I have had broken CC tattoos and a necklace cause that in my game before. The sim appeared perfectly fine in CAS but in live mode, they turned completely black from head to toe. Removing the items from the sim fixed it for me. Then I deleted them from my mods folder.

i’ll try it tomorrow morning but that could be the issue i’ve never tried using a regular swimsuit
unfortunately no this did not work it just seems the swimwear category is corrupted im not sure how to fix this
Does it happen in a new game without any mods or cc? Just move your mods folder to your desktop, delete the localthumbcache file, and start a new game. When you make and place the sim, then you can see if it still happens. My guess is that it won't. I'm pretty sure this is a mod/CC issue. If it does happen in a mod/CC free save, try a game repair. If it doesn't, then you're going to have to go through your mods and CC until you find the file causing the issue.
