Sim hasn't returned after having science baby
I had my sim go and have a science baby as a single parent. It's been almost 24 in game hours and she's still not home from having a baby and I can't save I can't travel all I can do is watch the other Sims in her household. I don't wanna restart the game because I would lose so much progress but I literally can't do anything my sim won't come home at all. I just bought the growing together expansion pack which obviously caused my game to need an update and now its updated yet still nothing
Edit: I managed to fix it same day by just restarting the game. Lost some unsaved progress but in the end I made a lot more progress after fixing my game. Still feel free to leave tips and solutions down below in case others are having similar issues and benefit from your replies 🙂
Good that you couldn't save as it would have made it permanent. Exit without saving You will likely need to have Windows shut the program down.
When you start again Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
