Hi @Suholeeha There's a good chance that this is going to turn out to be CC related, unfortunately. Could you do this test please?

    1. Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop.
    2. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
    3. Copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up.
    4. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem.

If you don't still have it:

    1. Redownload fresh copies of MCCC and Whims, and copy your old MCCC .cfg file from the old Mods folder into the new one the game has made. (You'll be using this new folder now.)
    2. Copy CC in batches. This is a good time to look for duplicate files, which can cause problems. If you recognize CC files you've not used in a long time, leave it in your old folder for now. (I was amazed last time I did this with mine how much I had that I'd not been using.)
    3. For each batch, start the game and see how it's running. If you forget and save before exiting, you've still got your old Saves backup.

@Suholeeha You say you can access mods, but no mods should be accessible in your game if you've removed the Mods folder, not just part of what's in it. Could you try this clean-folder test please?

    1. Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
    2. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
    3. Start with New to test if your issue recurs.
    4. If that works, exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
    5. Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select your regular save to test. Exit without saving.

@Suholeeha Let's try a few other things first:

    - If you load a different household, does it work? And if you then load your regular one is the glitch gone?

    - If you move your household to a new lot, does it work?

    - Does a earlier version of your save work? (Start at "Load" for this.)
