Sim randomly became Clumsy, can't fix it.
My Sim gained the Clumsy trait out of nowhere, and it doesn't even show up in his listed traits and I have never given him this trait. I'm fairly certain this is a bug. People have been reporting since at least 2019, and it still hasn't been patched out.
I'm using a PC. The only DLC's are ROM and Paranormal.
He's a Spellcaster. He drank an Excellent quality luck potion that made him vomit. He has the hexproof perk, and has the potion aspiration reward trait. It's an excellent quality potion that was made by him, so the fact it made him vomit is already supposed to be impossible.
It is not a curse. It doesn't show up in the Spellbook, and an Excellent curse cleansing potion made by him did nothing. Decursify didn't fix it either. Why did he need Decursify? Because he got cursed from drinking a normal quality curse removing potion he made, even though he has the aforementioned traits.
He has maxed out Fitness and the Athletic trait, so it makes even less sense.
Removing his traits and adding them back in CAS didn't fix it. Neither did resetting him with testingcheats.
I've used a boatload of cheats in the game, but no mods or CC. I downloaded a character from the gallery (link below) for the face and changed basically everything else, but the gallery Sim didn't have the Clumsy trait either.
I know it must be a fourth, hidden trait because I got want from being Clumsy.
Someone else who had this problem found a solution, but it requires the MCCC mod. (Link below.)
Does look like it has to do with the potion going south.
Can you try if removing that trait helps:
traits.remove_trait trait_Cauldron_Potion_Luck_Clumsy
Its possible that getting rid of the curse doesn't work cause you shouldn't have gained it int he first place and maybe only the trait was added without the actual curse. I would need to check what traits a Sim gains if they get cursed properly but I don't have a save to try that atm.
