Sim resets and won’t drink any purchased potions or medicine?

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All available
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to drink medicine or a potion?
What happens when the bug occurs? I tell my sim to drink either a potion or medicine, it never appears in their task list and instead they reset. (Arms go out then back to the sides.)
What do you expect to see? I expect the sim to drink the potion or medicine, then have the effects of said drink.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    do you have any lastException files in your doc folder ? If so, could you attach ?

    I tried potions the other day and had no issues though.

    Does it happen to all of them ? Also in a new save for testing purposes and for multiple Sims or just one.

    Not sure what last exception files are? But yes it happens to every sim. In every household. I’ve even tried having another sim buy a potion and give it to another sim and it still won’t work.. and I save all my games together. I don’t have any multiple saves.

    Have to tried to repair the game (quit the game, open Origin, open your game library, right click on Sims 4, repair)?

    There should be a file called lastException in your documents folder.
