sim won’t take pregnant patient to surgery table

My sims is level 8 of the doctor career. In order to get promoted she needs to deliver a baby. A sim just came in and she needs to have her baby delivered but everytime I click on “Deliver baby on Surgery Table” nothing happens. It may be good to note that I have a redone hospital but she’s performed surgeries on that specific surgery table before. I’ve also reset both characters multiple times but nothing seems to work.
