Sim won't go to work!!

when i get the work panel saying work from home or go to work etc come up its blank and i got my sim to quit the job and get the job again the notification comes up in the right corner and its blank too. and my sim doesn't go to work even when i click go to work. the career i used wasn't a CC Career Mod.
Its social Media Career and Journalist Career.
Same thing's happening to me. I think it might be a glitch while the game prepares an update.
Same with me. The only careers my sims go to are the playable ones (scientist, doctor, detective and actor) but with other jobs they get the button to go to work but when I click it nothing happens and their bosses will call and they still won’t go to work. Tried quitting the job and getting a different one but same problem. So now I only give them one of the four playable jobs.
Hey, sorry for being late. A workaround is to leave your current lot to an public area like Willow Creek's Park or a lot that you know has worked. Your sim will then go home but will "technically" be at work so you can do stuff but also be at work and set how you want to be working and the like. However you cannot look into your sim's inventory. The problem seems to be related to the lot's exit spot where they go to for work or probably "lack of a spot" to go to. If they implemented a immediate go to work instead going to the edge of a driveway or edge of the neighborhood to go to work this could be fixed but I guess EA forgot that not all their lots have incompatible lots for sims with default careers. This is especially the case in Sulani world as there is no roads or typical neighborhoods.
