@Gagea25 Yes, it happens with different stoves. I’ve even tried to remove any CC stoves and replace them with Sims stock stoves in-game.
@kad4610 @shannettethomas Please test with no mods or CC to see if that's your issue. Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.
- 2 years ago@luthienrising I tried this many of times. I even repaired the game, uninstalled it, 50\50 method and it's still the same problem. All my mods are updated as well.

@shannettethomas Can you not use ovens at all or only not bake? I'm assuming you have Get to Work? (Bake requires that pack.)
Updated mods can still have issues, hence the request to test with no mods or CC at all and deleting localthumbcache.

I have taken out the mods folder. I know for a fact it’s CC/Mod related bc it works without it removed from the game, I’m just too lazy to go through them and find out which one it is…especially since it hasn’t completely disabled me from playing. I was just hoping to find someone who had already gone through that part and has the heart to save me from going through it. Thanks for your suggestions though! 💜
