Sims 4 broken

Hi all, I'm here hoping to find some help. My Sims 4 has been broken since the High School pack update. I have all the expansion packs & most of the game packs & kits. I also use mods and some cc. I've updated all mods and the games, & deleted all my cc but my sims still aren't responding. I can't make them do anything. It's like their free will has completely taken over. I can click on objects but the command never shows. Same goes for the phone option. The only thing they will start doing is cooking, but as soon as they go to the stove the command closes out. Any suggestions are appreciated.
