Sims 4 CC and mods not showing up

it's not working for me either i did evething they told ne to do and it still will not work.

The patch yesterday intentionally deactivated the mods in your game. If you already installed the patch, maybe you forgot to activate them again.

Check in Game Options/Others that both checkboxes for modded content are activated like shown in the image below:

I have tried that but it hasn't worked.

Yeah that's not it. I've restarted The Sims 4 many times and every-time I have to check the allow mods box. It's not saving.

I have these settings enabled from the beginning

i'm also having this problem. I have restarted the game and turned mods off and on again multiple times, checking the enable mods box every time... yet everytime i load my save my sim has no cc?

when i launch cas, the cc is usable and in the game!! but when i load into my game its not showing on my sim. :c

anyone else?

I've got the same problem..

Each time i reactive the CC and lance the game.. same message

@vantyf @jesser1981 @madsbbby  @Flibu17 Please try making a fresh user folder:

1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
2. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
3. Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a "vanilla" game and to have a test file.

If that works:

1. Exit and copy just one CC item into your new Mods folder.
2. Launch Sims 4 and test if you can use it normally.
   
   

If this DOESN'T work for you, please let me know

- what platform you're on

- if you had switched to DX11 or are still in the default DX9

It's possible I misunderstood your instructions because this hasn't worked for me ☹️

I did steps 1 and 2 as you said, game loaded as if it was my first time playing, and I exited the game after ensuring I had enabled CC in settings (i kept script mods disabled as I thought this possibly had something to do with my issue).

I added only my CC and no script mod files, and my most recent save where I experienced this issue to this freshly generated Sims 4 Folder.

I then relaunched and it was clear my game was still detecting and allowing me to use my CC in CAS, but the save still loads my sim naked and without hair.

It's as if it hasn't registered any of the CAS cc was ever there.

I've also now tried repairing the install through the EA app and deleting old CC but nothing I try seems to work ☹️

I'm on Windows. I'm not sure what you mean by DX11/DX9, is this related to DirectX on Windows?

Let me know if I mixed something up here. Any more help you could give me is really appreciated! Thank you!
