You forgot spaces here: "testingcheats on" and here "testingcheats true".
I've tried both yes I forgot the spaces but it still won't work any other suggestions?
@lASTRAEAl What mode are you in when you're using the money cheat? It might not work in all of them. (I'm usually in Live Mode when I use it, I think.)

@lASTRAEAl I'm just going to add a link here to the EA page with instructions for this cheat: https://www.ea.com/en-gb/games/the-sims/cheats#pcq9 (of course, you don't include the quote marks when you enter it).
Could you test it in a clean folder and new save? Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Start with New to test if your issue recurs.
