@lASTRAEAl What mode are you in when you're using the money cheat? It might not work in all of them. (I'm usually in Live Mode when I use it, I think.)

Could you test it in a clean folder and new save? Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Start with New to test if your issue recurs.

I tried it and it still isnt working I'm going to try to contact EA to see if they will help me
