Sims 4 december 5 update stuck manage worlds
Since the december 5 update, when I open the Sims I immediately get into manage worlds and when I try to play a family there's a loading screen but it brings me back to manage worlds. I tried closing and opening the game again, creating a new game, clearing cache, repairing the game, removing mods, but nothing works.
Factory Reset
Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Close the game.
- Copy back your save game from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
