sims 4 face disappearing when sim ages up

I haven't used this site before so apologies if I make any mistakes^^

I added a few mods to my game today (all of which I have now deleted as well as the localthumbcache file) and when my sims age up from child to teen they lose their entire face

I don't know how to fix it and everything I've tried from googling hasn't worked either

Have tried a vanilla game with no mods at all?

@nightmarefoxcake One possibility is that you (or someone else) ran a Sims 4 Studio batch fix on default replacement CC; otherwise, outdated face-part CC is usually the cause of this. You would need to redownload that CC or find alternatives. For affected Sims not clearing up when localthumbcache is deleted, try a "Save As" or a clean folder.
