Sims 4 Feb 7th update Issues

Question

Since the update I’ve been having issues with my sims getting stuck holding things. One sim got stuck holding a bowl which prevented her going to high school and my child sim got stuck holding an umbrella which stopped him interacting with things and ultimately caused my game to crash.
I also don’t have access the top surgery scars or the binders etc . In CAS it doesn’t even show a section for body scars. I have access to medical items like the hearing aids but nothing else.

@SlowNoodle  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? If so, have you tested without them ?If not, have you tried a game repair yet ?

I don’t have any mods/cc and I have no idea how to do a game repair. I’m really not very technologically literate.
