Sims 4 Feb 7th update Issues

Since the update I’ve been having issues with my sims getting stuck holding things. One sim got stuck holding a bowl which prevented her going to high school and my child sim got stuck holding an umbrella which stopped him interacting with things and ultimately caused my game to crash. 
I also don’t have access the top surgery scars or the binders etc . In CAS it doesn’t even show a section for body scars. I have access to medical items like the hearing aids but nothing else.
