Sims 4 freezes at same sim-time of day

cryinkhaos  What time is your game freezing, and what's happening on-screen?

puzzlezaddict It stops at 6:33am and my sims stop whenever they try to talk to each other. And whenever I try to save and exit, I get stuck in the saving screen. Here's my dxdiag if that's needed.

cryinkhaos  I don't see anything concerning in your dxdiag, other than the Sims 4 errors that are likely from when the game hangs while saving.  The errors don't say anything useful though.

Can you save your progress before this happens?  What about using "save as" instead?  If that doesn't work, try playing a different household in the same save, switching earlier in the morning and saving at or after the time when the game would normally stop working.  Use "save as" here too, and you won't overwrite your progress.

If it works, I'd be interested to know how large the new save file is both in absolute terms and relative to the previous save state.  You can see the file sizes in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves, and the timestamps should make it clear which file belongs to which save.

If you can't save your progress in this save no matter what (save as, different household), please try in a new save, for comparison's sake.

Do you know which mod was causing this? Experiencing the same issue atm
