Sims 4 freezes when trying to cook, order items on computer, travel , etc.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on anything where a dialogue box is supposed to show up (cook, assign bed, etc)
What happens when the bug occurs? The whole screen turns a darker color as if a dialogue box was supposed to show up. The whole game just freezes and you have to close it using task manager.
What do you expect to see? I try to cook and then it freezes. I try to feed my toddler and it freezes. I try to order things on the computer and it freezes.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes

I've removed my mods, I've repaired my game and nothing is working. I can barely play the game. The whole game goes a little darker as if a dialogue box showed up (like when selecting what to cook or ordering books) then it doesn't go away. You have to open task manager and close it. You can't save the game or anything and I've been dealing with this for over a month. I've watched videos on how to fix broken mods and nothing is working. I did virus scans and nothing. I really need some help because I love the sims but can barely play.
