My game is completely broken and I can’t even remove certain mod files from my game ….it say an error is keeping me from deleting the folder or file and it’s like that for alottttt of files….all of my sims don’t have clothes or don’t work properly even in game some thumbnails don’t pop up or doors and words!!! I want to completely reset my game is there a way for ea to reset it for me? I haven’t been able to play it properly in years and still haven’t found a solution!
To start over, all you have to do is rename you current "The Sims 4" folder to something else. Start the game and a new one will be created. If you want to see if you can salvage anything from your old one, just copy the saves folder from the old to the new folder. Given what you said, that might not work as the old saves might still be messed up, but you can just delete what you copied and start fresh with a new save if it is. You could also copy over the Tray folder since that is your Library if you want to try to save the sims you've saved there. Again, if the sims are messed up, just delete the folder once you know.
You should be able to delete the old "The Sims 4 folder at that point if you want to.
