While I play my Sims 4 on normal speed mode it randomly speeds up on it's own. I tried repairing the game l, I tried removing the directory folder onto my desktop followed my restarting the game and it still did not fix the ramdom speed issue. I've been playing this game for 10 years. I've seen people complaining about this since 2019 so why hasn't EA fixed it by now? It makes the game unplayable and enjoyable. Has a fellow player found a solution to this?

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I have a few mods downloaded onto the game as well. However, I saw a suggestion elsewhere about it being caused by mods so I deleted the mods folder and any traces of modes in the game. I also repaired the game via origin and it still occurs. Anything else that I can do which isn'tmod related?
It occurs with all of my saved games and lots. I've just uninstalled the entire game and deleted all Sims 4 files from my computer. I'll reinstall tomorrow and see if the random speed up still occurs.
