@101dals I've been keeping an eye on a similar problem for a while. There was an issue ages ago that was fixed in a patch but I've found it still happens sometimes
But there is a workaround. Just make regular food as usual and place it where the toddler can reach it. Then the toddler can get their own plate and climb up on a nearby seat to stuff their adorable little faces with food...and nobody gets a nasty notification about them being taken away.
@simsplayer818 haha totally! The toddlers ended up doing that when I gave up and they just fed themselves with the full course family servings I made 😂 or I gave them a ton of drinks / apples from my inventory.
- @101dals I actually wasn't sure if it was part of the ongoing toddler glitches...which I expect will be addressed anyway as infants are a planned improvement this year. I've had the plate issue in a few different situations where it's exactly as you describe. I've had it with washing up a few times on Cottage Living lots. I've also had it when baking on Cottage Living lots. So I wasn't sure if it was just a plate bug linked to CoL.
It's one to keep an eye on anyway.Oh!! Interesting! Yeah that was my first experiencing just a few days ago playing after years of playing. I haven’t bought the cottage living pack yet but looking forward to purchase soon! I guess we’ll see if this glitch or bug gets addressed on the next laundry list for this year?
