Sims 4 Icons Disappear + Suddenly Stops Working

I can't seem to play the game properly without it suddenly stopping!
If you see in the top right of the picture, the icons have started disappearing.
Any buttons I press don't seem to work, I have to CTRL + ATL + DELETE to get out of the screen then shut down Sims 4 via Task Manager.
Is anyone else having this issue?!!? Why is this happening!

@9ja16m8lzihr Are you using custom content or mods in your game ? If so, have you tried removing those ?

Try removing everything and see if it then works.
