When I try to make my toddler or young adult sim use something (let's say a bed), a thought bubble with footsteps and a red exclamation mark appears and my sim cannot do this. It doesn't matter which sim I use and the only mod I have is the realistic childbirth mod by pandasama. Please help
@Keiramm I was googling this a bit and I did notice a mention of this Mod being broken at one point (maybe this summer?), which it sounds like got fixed, so do you have the latest update for the Mod? (Of course there may have ben a break since that I didn't find mention of, but this is just a thought.) Also, it also mentioned a reminder that you need to own the 'Get to Work' expansion pack for this Mod to work. Do you own this pack?
Even just one Mod or CC can cause issues if it's conflicting with an aspect of the game. Please try test in a new save after deleting the localthumbcache.package file and with your Mods folder moved to your desktop and see if the issue remains then. Directions are in the spoiler tag:
Try moving the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can test without saving in order to identify which CC/Mods are causing the issue, then remove or add updated version(s) of the Mod/CC causing the issue.
That's a routing error. Are you getting it on every single interaction, or only for certain items? For example, there's currently a known bug where trying to put a toddler to bed or read them to sleep can result in a routing error unless both adult and toddler are already in the same room with the bed.
