Sims 4 keeps crashing 2024
I have tried everything !! Repairing, deleting broken mods, localthumbcache, created a new sims 4 folder, watched so many YouTube videos on what to do and now I’m thinking it’s some sort of technical...

I did come across an error when doing that
It said:
"Error: 740 Elevated permissions are required to run DISM. Use an elevated command prompt to complete these tasks." @puzzlezaddict
I also have now disabled Game Mode and Game Bar.
@samuellaaa123 You need to choose the PowerShell option with (Administrator) in its name. That's what elevated permissions means.
Update: I tested the game out after doing both of the scans,
the sfc/scannow one did say that it found corrupted files and successfully repaired them.
I tested the game with no mods or saves everything seemed to work perfectly i didn't crash so I don't know I'm kind of scared of playing with my mods i do have over 3k and that's AFTER I deleted some and a lot of duplicates. But however I do wanna download sims 4 studio to be able to see which cc i do not want so maybe it wont be too much for my game to handle.
I do feel as though the two new recent packs may have had an effect on the game I did recently get Horse Ranch
@samuellaaa123 The sheer number of mods or custom content items can be an issue for sure, but it's more common to have one or more broken mods. So start there: test all your mods in batches, or use the 50/50 method if you prefer:

Do the same for your custom content, although cc is less likely to break with any given patch. You'll also be able to see whether having fewer mods and cc files helps game performance overall.
