Sims 4 mod update but still cause problems in my game

So everytime I go into Sims 4 when I click on my Sims the pie/ interaction menu won't pop up, I thought it was because I had a lot of mods so it was taking a while as usual but this time it just never popped up, they only pop up when I click on objects though not Sims, so I cleaned out my mods folder and eventually found the mods that were causing the problem, they were outdated so I deleted them than went to the creator's Patreon where they had the updated version of them, when I updated them and made sure everything was correct when re downloading them I still had the same problem, I tried talking out my local thumbcache when putting them back in the second time but nothing worked, their updated so they should be compatible with the new patch the comments under the post show it works I don't understand this problem please help, these mods are the only thing that make my game fun ☹️
