Sims 4 Mods/CC not working question

for the newest 2025 update in Sims 4 it turned off all the mods, so i turned them on and restarted my game, i saw the loading screen but then it went to a black screen with the main menu music.

i tried to fix it from things i saw online, i even uninstalled Sims 4 and re-installed it which took an hour or two but it didn't work so i ended up deleting all my mods and cc, and redownloaded them and some new ones hoping it would work but it didn't. whenever i have mods turned on in Sims 4 it always goes to a black screen and the only way to close it is powering off my laptop, or i recently figured out i could use task manager to end the task.

if this is happening to anyone else or you know what's going on, please let me know because i just took a few hours redownloading a bunch of mods and have spent this whole time worrying if i can ever play with mods/cc again.
