What caused it... If it isn't a computer to blame probably some files in the game folder are damaged

I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game, just moving across my saves file and the same issue is still present.
I went into a random townie house and everything there seems to be just fine it's just my sims family that isn't working.
Any ideas?
