Please remove all your mods for testing and see if it works without them to make sure it's not a mod issue.
Use a backup of your save game or a new save to test.
Custom content can get outdated with patches. If it works when you remove your mods folder, then one or more mods/cc is no longer compatible with the game and you have to find those.

Hey, so I did that already. I cleaned out everything that was bugged and the freezing stopped but it still crashes.
