Sims 4 Roof edges patterned

Courtyard oasis, island living, luxury party, laundry day, snowy escape, vintage glamour, nifty knitting, jungle adventure, realm of magic, bowling night, cats and dogs, my first pet, outdoor retreat, country kitchen, throwback fit, toddler, dream home decorator, fitness, romantic garden, dine out, movie hangout, discover university, gnome on the go, perfect patio, spa day, kids room, industrial loft, parenthood, backyard, Strangerville, Moschino, animal hats, tiny living, city living, get famous, life of the party, get to work, up all night, cottage living, get together, seasons, cool kitchen, grims guitar, Incheon arrivals, fashion street, blooming rooms.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? With blooming rooms kit installed, the edges of the gabled roof I had just built are now covered in patterns overlapping with the trim.
What happens when the bug occurs? It only seems to affect my current house 2-4-2 Wakabamori which I have converted and changed from rental to residential. It has a black roof with glass roof inserts and black roof trim (1st choice on the roof trim list). It makes no difference if I remove the trim or change the tiles. I deleted the roof and rebuilt it but it still happened. The roof edge on the upper floor that I've added has small gold stars around it and the lower roof which was already there but has been widened and lengthened, that has multicoloured dashes around the trim. I've been to other properties they look fine and my Sim is a decorator and the house she just decorated is fine. I've renovated this property before in a previous lost save and this didn't happen. It happened after installing Blooming rooms kit.
What do you expect to see? I had a lovely shiny roof. Now it looks very wrong. It looks like I've got mismatched bunting attached to the gable edges.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

I have so many bugs in my game I'd vowed not to buy any more content until the serious bugs in our game are addressed, but....

I bought blooming rooms as timeless flower arrangements are currently bugged (already reported on the appropriate thread) and I wanted more plants. I added the kit and all the items then closed down my game. When I loaded it up again my roof looked bizarre.

I can't add an image here as recently it's not allowed me to do so, saying the file is too large.

    @simsplayer818 

    From your description, your issue might be the holiday decorations.  So try placing the decoration box on the lot and click the remove decorations option if it is present.  If not, try adding decorations then removing them.  I've had lots that got holiday decorations when I wasn't playing them and they sort of got stuck until I went to the lot in live mode and reset them with the box.

    I've tried everything to add an image or video. For some reason this site no longer lets me add images from files or from a direct shot or video. It says the file is too large. How frustrating.

    One roof has raggy gold stars looking like they are trapped under the edge of the roof. The other roof is edged with small alternating dashes of orange, white, blue and beige.

    I've checked other lots with a similar roof where I have 3 sections, 2 with tiles and the centre section glass. They are all fine. Checked my other snowy escape properties, all fine.

    It's not letting me add an image from any source. It says it's too large still.

    I've had to delete my roof altogether. It won't let me add any kind of normal roof without adding this strange bunting effect so instead I've just added a flat roof using the smallest size half wall and creating a room to make the roof. That worked fine and the random bunting effects have gone.

    Maybe if this happened to anyone else after adding blooming rooms they may have better luck adding an image. At least it only appears to affect this particular lot in Wakaba.

    How blooming annoying!

    @simsplayer818 Can you upload it to google drive ? If so, just link the google drive link instead.

    There is a size limit for adding pictures and files but there shouldn't be one if you just post the link.

    @CGrant56 Thank you for that solution that's exactly what it was.
    I've added a Decoration Box and put the roof back and turns out it's half sized and slightly faded in colour Eave Decorations which added randomly to this lot after I installed Blooming rooms. It's a patchy slightly blurred gold star banner and what looks like a very faded yellow, gold, white and silver banner. It's just the bottom half of each with the colour almost bleached in appearance.
    It can't have been set to appear in this arrangement from when this was previously a rental lot as I added the top roof myself after adding an extension, so it's a strange and random thing! It just appeared.
    At least if this happens to anyone else they can see how to get rid of them. Cheers!
