Sims 4 saves and mods won't load after installed it on dekstop, not ondrive.

Yesterday I uninstalled my onedrive on my dekstop due to not enough storage, but before doing so I have backed up the saves and mods files of my The Sims 4 games. I ended up changing the install location on EA app after I uninstalled my Sims 4 into: C:\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\

And then I proceed to move (cut and paste) the mods and saves file that I have backed up on the new folder that is now on my dekstop, not on onedrive anymore. The thing is, no matter which tutorial I followed, my mods and saves file couldn't seem to work/load, although I have activated the mods and script in the game. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help me, thank you so much in advance.

For what you said, it looks like you installed the game in the wrong place.  The folder path you show is for the user folder created by the game the 1st time you run it, not for the game files.  They need to be in separate locations on your computer.

The game files should be installed in C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4.  When you start the game through the EA App, the game will create the user folder in C:\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4.

Once that is created, you can copy over your mods and CC to the Mods folder and your saves to the Saves folder within the user folder.

So, it looks like you need to uninstall the game and reinstall it into the correct location.

    Hope this helps.
