I've solved the problem. I went through my mods folder and took some things out and it was some high school posters cc that I don't even use causing the problem. I think I did also need to create a clean user folder because before I did that removing the mods folder didn't do anything.
The EA app then got stuck in preparing game which I solved by ending all of the EA tasks in task manager. Now I've transferred all of my saves and mods and my tray to the new folder and everything is working fine.
Is there a faster way to check which cc is causing the problem? I have a lot of cc and I dont know which one to remove T_T
