sims 4 some mods working and others are not

Hello,

I've been playing the sims 4 for a while now and I know how to put in mods. However,after the update some of my mods are working and some of them are not. I have the Better Excepetions mod in by TwistedMexi to help me sort out which mods might be broken after the recent update and its saying that there are no mods that are broken. So I'm not understanding why some mods are and others aren't. Can someone help me please. I've been trying to figure this out for a week.
