Okay, so I've managed to get the game to launch finally. I moved all my mods to a backup folder and deleted the mods folder and started the game. I've added all my mods back in and while I was doing so I noticed I had an image file buried underneath all my mods, so maybe that could've been it. To be honest I'm not entirely sure, but that's what worked for me.
